Moving House Checklist

For families who are either upgrading and downgrading from an existing apartment, I believe this is more stressful period, as compared to a newly married couple who is moving in together for the first time.
Nonetheless, the following tips should help:
- Dispose, giveaway donate anything which you have never used for the past 5 years;
- NEVER leave your family member behind - and I am referring to your PETS! I have witnessed another sad case whereby the family gave up the poor dog when they decided to move. SO IRRESPONSIBLE!!
- Digitise as much as possible, you will be surprised at the enormous amount of space which you can free up!

If you are packing with no outside help, start packing as soon as possible, ideally 3 – 4 weeks in advance and is no wonder why its top of our house moving list. These days exchange and completion occur on the same week. Its best to be prepared rather than leaving everything to the last minute!
